Crispy Ranch Potatoes
These crispy ranch potatoes will be your favorite way to enjoy roasted potatoes! Crispy oven roasted red potatoes are drizzled with a homemade ranch butter (that is more WAY delicious than that packaged ranch powder!) You won’t be able to stop eating these- they’re that good!
What you’ll love about this:
Ingredients for Ranch Potatoes
- Red Potatoes: I love baby red potatoes. They have a beautiful color and a rich flavor that is perfect for these crispy ranch potatoes. You can also use gold potatoes.
- Spices: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Dill, Herbs de Provence, Salt and Pepper (You can also use fresh dill if you have that on hand. It will make the flavor even better!)
- Butter: This really helps these potatoes crisp up nicely! I used a plant-based butter from Earth Balance but use whichever you prefer.
- Optional: Fresh Parsley for garnish and ranch for dipping (I love the Follow Your Heart Vegan Ranch or my homemade healthier Vegan Ranch)
Can I just use a ranch seasoning packet instead?
You can use the packet, but I highly recommend making your own simple ranch butter because the ingredients are very simple! The ranch packet also contains dairy (so does not work if you want a dairy-free recipe). The packets also contains all sorts of strange ingredients (the first ingredient is maltodextrin – not even spices!). For all the reasons, I recommend making your own yummy ranch seasoning – you won’t regret it!!

Notes
- Since we are trying to replicate that “ranch” flavor without the use of a ranch packet, the butter provides a creaminess that mimics ranch. If you don’t have butter, you can still use extra virgin olive oil and get great results!
We made these crispy ranch potatoes the other night. The whole family loved these potatoes so much that there were zero leftovers! Definitely will make these again!
