Hi, I’m Allie

Welcome friends! My name is Allie, and I’m a 30-year-old plant-based recipe creator. I’ve been plant-based for about 7 years. I first discovered the plant-based diet when I was in college after years of eating meat and dairy products. Being from Wisconsin, this was a big part of my diet, especially with all of the German influences. If you don’t know much about the Wisconsin/German diet, it includes a lot of brats, cheese, and beer!

Transitioning to a plant-based diet was a huge shift for me, not only palate-wise but culturally. It took time to feel comfortable telling family and friends I wouldn’t be eating a brat at their cookout or hitting up Culver’s for a butter burger (this is a Wisconsin favorite). Over time, my confidence grew with my passion for the plant-based lifestyle, and I decided I wanted to share it with others!
