Green Goddess
Dressing
Even my salad-skeptic husband will eat a giant salad as long as it has this creamy green goddess dressing on top. This recipe just gets it right. Some recipes call for what seems like 5 different herbs – you only need two of your favorites for this recipe (I recommend parsley be one of them). I also found that using just Greek yogurt created a dry taste in my mouth…you can solve this problem by adding a small amount of mayo. You can blend up this heavenly dressing in just 5 minutes and it’s ready to go for dressing, drizzling, dipping, dunking, and more!

What is green goddess dressing made of?
- Yogurt – I recommend using a plain, unsweetenend Greek yogurt. Depending on your preference, you can use a dairy or dairy-free version. For dairy-free option, I like Kite Hill Greek Yogurt.
- Mayonnaise – I found that just a small amount of mayo helped balance of that “dry” texture that the Greek yogurt has. You just need 1/4 cup. They do make plant-based mayo! I used one from Hellman’s
- Herbs – For simplicity sake, I recommend using two types of herbs (some recipes call for 3-5!). You will definitely want parsley, but for your second herb you can experiment with cilantro, dill, mint, and more. I used cilantro in mine, but am also a fan of mint for a refreshing flavor
- Capers – This adds a saltiness and more depth of flavor to our Green Goddess Dressing
- Lemon – This adds a brightness and acidity to the recipe
- Garlic – Just one clove. No need to mince or chop – the blender will do that for you!
- Salt & Pepper

How to Make Green Goddess Dressing
1. Prep ingredients
Roughly chop your herbs (can include some tender stems) and measure out about 3/4 cup of each herb.
2. Blend
In a blender or food processor, add your herbs, yogurt, mayo, capers, lemon salt, pepper, and garlic. Blend until smooth. Enjoy right away! The dressing will thicken up a bit in the fridge.

You can store this dressing in a glass jar or container (I do recommend glass instead of plastic). Store it in the fridge for up to a week.
