Blueberry Lavender Vodka
Lemonade
This blueberry lavender vodka lemonade is a simple, refreshing, and vibrant spring & summer drink that you will want to make on repeat! To get that gorgeous purple color, this recipe uses fresh homemade blueberry puree that is super easy to make (no need to make a sticky, hard-to-clean stovetop syrup like other recipes). Combine it with a little lavender syrup that is just enough for a subtle – not overpowering – floral flavor. Stir in your favorite vodka and fresh lemonade and you have a fruity, sweet, and colorful cocktail. I love to top it with a delicate lavender sprig to add a touch of “sophistication” and pop of color.

Blueberries have always been my favorite fruit. I pretty much always have a carton in the fridge – and if they’re a bit too pricey in the winter, I will buy a frozen bag to thaw and put in my oatmeal or make my favorite healthy wild blueberry muffins.
The weather is starting to warm up here in Wisconsin, and so are my tastebuds for a refreshing cocktail that makes me know that spring and summer is on the way. All of us in these colder states spend the second half of winter dreaming of a warm summer day on our patio with a fruity drink in our hands. Either that or a cold beer. 😄
So this is an ode to the approaching spring and summer: this blueberry lavender vodka lemonade is going to be the drink of summer 2026.
This drink is:
Light
Refreshing
Fruity
Sweet
Citrusy
A little floral (but not overpowering)

Blueberry Vodka Lemonade Ingredients
- Vodka: I like Absolute, Kirkland Vodka, or Titos – but use whatever you’d like!
- Lavender Syrup: For convenience in this recipe, we will use a storebought lavender syrup. This is very common. I used Monin lavender syrup.
- Lemonade: I recommend using a better quality lemonade. I love Simply Lemonade, but if your grocery store carries a freshly squeeze lemonade I would recommend that!
- Blueberry puree: In this recipe we will make our own blueberry puree. This is simply blending blueberries (fresh or thawed from frozen) + a small amount of water. This will create enough blueberry puree to make 3-4 cocktails.
Pretty Garnishes
There’s something about a garnish on the cocktail that makes you feel like you’re a cocktail in bar in your own kitchen, right? Here are some of the garnish options for this recipe.
- Dried lavender sprigs or lavender buds: Not all lavender is edible, so make sure to buy some that specifically states it is. I got my lavender sprigs off of Amazon and then I pulled off a few buds to also sprinkle of top. Don’t go overboard with the buds on top – you want just enough to add a floral smell as you drink the cocktail, but not overwhelm it.
- Fresh blueberries: A few plump blueberries on top are a beautiful touch.
- A lemon wedge or half-slice: Emphasizes the “lemonade” part of the drink and is a gorgeous pop of color amongst the darker purple and blue hues of the drink.

How to Make a Blueberry Lavender Vodka Cocktail
This recipe is very easy to make! The only step that will require a little extra prep is making your blueberry puree. I recommend doing this first.
You will need fresh or frozen blueberries. If using frozen, please thaw and drain. Add them to a blender with a small amount of water (2 tbsp). Blend until smooth. If you have a fine-mesh strainer, you can strain to get rid of some of the skins, but I found this didn’t make a huge difference in the final puree, especially if you really blended the mixture.
In your glass of choice, add the vodka, lavender syrup, blueberry puree, and lemonade. Stir with a spoon, then top with ice. Taste your drink and add a little extra lemonade, depending on personal preference.
Garnish with a lavender sprig or buds, a lemon wedge or slice, and/or fresh blueberries. Enjoy!

Common Questions
Yes, you could use basil, raspberry, or blackberry syrup – or another one that sounds yummy to you!
Blueberry syrup is sweet and is not a substitute for blueberry puree. The puree gives the drink the fresh blueberry flavor and color, without adding a ton of sweetness. The drink already is sweeter thanks to the addition of lemonade and lavender syrup.
I did not recipe test this is a large batch, but it would likely work if you 4-6x the recipe for a large group. You will have to increase the amount of blueberry puree.
