Blueberry Lavender Vodka Lemonade

This blueberry lavender vodka lemonade is a simple, refreshing, and vibrant spring & summer drink that you will want to make on repeat! To get that gorgeous purple color, this recipe uses fresh homemade blueberry puree that is super easy to make (no need to make a sticky, hard-to-clean stovetop syrup like other recipes). Combine it with a little lavender syrup that is just enough for a subtle - not overpowering - floral flavor. Stir in your favorite vodka and fresh lemonade and you have a fruity, sweet, and colorful cocktail. I love to top it with a delicate lavender sprig to add a touch of "sophistication" and pop of color.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 0.5 oz lavender syrup
  • 4 oz fresh lemonade can top off with extra, if desired.
  • 1 oz blueberry puree

Blueberry Puree - Makes Extra (For 3-4 Drinks)

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries *frozen must be thawed and drained
  • 2 tbsp water

Optional Garnishes

  • lavender sprigs or buds *make sure they're edible
  • lemon slice
  • fresh blueberries

Instructions

  • Make your blueberry puree first by combining blueberries + water in a blender. Blend until smooth.
*If using frozen blueberries, thaw them first (can do this in the microwave) and drain.
You can strain your mixture in a fine-mesh strainer to get rid of any fine blueberry skins, but I found this did not make a big difference in the final drink - as long as you blend the mixture well.
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, 2 tbsp water
  • In a glass (I used a ~10 oz side glass) add your vodka, lavender syrup, blueberry puree, and lemonade. Mix with a spoon, then top with ice to fill the glass. Taste and add a little extra lemonade based on your flavor preference.
Garnish with a lavender sprig (or a few buds), lemon slice, and/or fresh blueberries. Enjoy!
2 oz vodka, 0.5 oz lavender syrup, 4 oz fresh lemonade, 1 oz blueberry puree

Notes

Notes
  • The blueberry puree will make enough puree for 3-4 drinks.
  • Top off your drink with a little extra lemonade, depending on your flavor preference.
  • You could swap out the lavender syrup with a different flavor like basil, blackberry, raspberry, and more!
