Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare an 8x8 glass pan with parchment paper.
To a food processor, add your avocado, non-dairy milk, flax egg, vanilla, and sugar. Blend until combined and no chunks of avocado.

Next, add your cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend only until combined (over blending can create tougher brownies).
3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt
Pour in your chocolate chips and stir until combined.

Pour your batter in your pan. Optional: top with more chocolate chips.
Bake for 25-28 minutes. The brownies will still be soft but will firm up as they cool. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars and enjoying. You can enjoy them chilled, room temp, or warmed with some ice cream on top-yum!
Store in the fridge for best results.
