Ingredients

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Optional: Top with green onion, more buffalo sauce, or vegan shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Enjoy with pita chips, pretzels, carrots, celery, or tortilla chips. (Alternatively can chill for 1-2 hours.)

Notes

Tips:
    • This dip can be enjoyed hot, cold, or room temperature. If you want it hot, just bake the blended dip in the oven at 350F in a baking dish for 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can chill the dip for a few hours.
    • Buffalo sauce comes in lots of spice levels. I personally prefer a mild buffalo sauce but choose one that you like!
Substitutions/Variations:
    • Instead of chickpeas you could use other white beans such as Great Northern Beans or Cannellini Beans
    • You can omit the nutritional yeast if you don’t have it. It adds more cheesy flavor but is not necessary
    • Don't have yogurt? Use cream cheese.

What to eat this dip with:
You can serve this dip with lots of delicious dipping sides such as veggies (carrot sticks, celery sticks, red pepper slices), crackers, pita chips, or pita bread!
It's also great as a spread on a wrap or sandwich.
